Constructive Feedback Friday

I'm posting this picture of my daughter, Alexis.  I don't like how faded the colors are and how pale her skin looks. I use lightroom and Photoshop CS3. I'm hoping for some great tips from the pros at Iheartfaces!! Thanks!

  1. You did a great job of picking a good lighting situation. The light is nice and even on her face and her eyes really stand out. I agree a little pop of color would help this photo, but be careful not to apply too much contrast to the photo. I know that many people like to try out a fix on the photos. If you have it, could you link to a larger version of this photo?

  2. I love this picture, and the even light across Lexi's face....the only thing that bothers me about it, and it's not even really a 'bother'; in the edit, her skin is very 'porcelain' looking...she almost looks like a china doll, and though she's beautiful, I feel like this picture needs a little warmth....possibly even just a warm filter on a low opacity....that might take care of it. I'll have to try it out and see what I come up with....stay tuned for my edit. <3
